Your most senior accountant: oversees work of bookkeeper(s), takes ownership of the financial statements. The controller is less strategic in focus than the CFO, and more focused on analytics. Examples of duties include review of bookkeeper's account reconciliations and performance of monthly P&L flux analyses. This is an ongoing service billed by monthly retainer.

Annual service to assist you in preparing for external financial statement audit and/or compliance audit. Includes making sure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled, any significant P&L variances have documented explanations, assistance with pulling together audit requests from auditor, and assistance answering questions from auditor during their engagement. This service is typically a fixed fee engagement based on an estimate of time needed to complete, and is billed monthly.

Ongoing engagement to carefully track cash inflows and outflows and forecast short-term and long-term future cash flows. This service is part of the full outsourced CFO package, but is available separately if needed. Billed as a monthly retainer.

Preparation of internal financial statements for management, and any desired monthly analytics such as P&L flux analysis, budget variance analysis, and trend analysis. This service is part of the full outsourced Controller package, but is available separately if needed. Billed as monthly retainer.

Based on your most critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), we design and prepare dashboard reports on a monthly, weekly, or ad-hoc basis depending on your needs. Billed as monthly retainer.

We assist your finance team with preparation of financial reports for board of directors' or finance committee meetings. This can include spreadsheets, charts/graphs, PowerPoint slide decks, or a combination of all of the above. Billed as a retainer on the same frequency as your board meetings.

If your organization is working on a long-term strategic plan, we can assist your finance team with the financial data needed to prepare your plan - whether it's historical trend analyses or forward-looking projected information. Billed based on actual time incurred.

This can include anything from assisting you with internal control memo preparation or documentation of processes and controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes and controls and make recommendations, and working with your staff to implement new processes and controls. Billed based on actual time incurred.
